Elspeth of Haven
Healer, teacher, pastoral Counselor, irrepressible storyteller -
Elspeth is an honored Elder in the Pagan community.

She is co-founder of The Haven Way: an eco-spiritual path of personal and planetary transformation.
Her workshops reflect her primary concerns: healing as a multi-dimensional spiritual path,

the unrecognized value of the older woman, the integral relationship between humans and

other beings, all this combined with our power and ability to create a world of compassion,

justice and sustainability.
Elspeth has created a CD of all her Trance Journeys.  Called "Into the Forest", it will be available soon.
Elspeth is a living example of the messages she brings: a 78-year-old great-grandmother;

who, until last year, traveled in a converted school bus named Gwendolyn.

Now Harvey, the RV, is Elspeth's home-away-from-home.
She carries native blood and is a member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe.
Elspeth holds the Certificate of Shamanic Practitioner from The Church of Earth Healing.

All her other training is experiential, and her learning received directly from the Source.

Two of her major contributions to personal development include "Resonating With The Crone", designed for peri- and menopausal women, now in its sixth year; and "Personal Evolution",

a workshop for adults of all genders.
When she is not being Crone-on-the-Road, Elspeth is at home in wild and wonderful West Virginia with her beloved Nybor and a fur person named Soltice.

Quote from Elspeth:

“My name is Elspeth.  I am priestess and co-founder of a neo-pagan spiritual path called

The Haven Way.  We hold a number of precepts in common with other neo-pagan groups.

We honor the Earth as a sacred being - Mother Gaia, the Creatrix - and as a living organism.

We regard our relationship to all natural beings as that of family and our purpose to further

that relationship.  While we generally follow a Wiccan format for ritual, it is our truth that

one's spiritual life is made up of more than the celebrations and rituals that make up

the "form".
We follow the Wiccan Rede: "And it harm none, do as you will"  and honor the precept from

Crowley: "Love is the law. Love under will".   This means that each of us is totally responsible

for our own actions, being completely free to act.  Haven is eco-spiritual, egalitarian, eclectic,

and evolving.  We regard our spiritual way not just as a path (a direction in which to move)

but also as a practice (a moment-to-moment, day-by-day manner of being)
Unlike most neo-pagan paths, we believe in making our road by walking it.”
